Description
Pasting up an old quicky made for a Vue class so that I can say 'thank you' to everyone for your support during my operation. I'm here and alive :)
I am not feeling well at all though. I've talked to people who got up after 3 days and ran marathons (kidding, but they felt fine) and I've talked to others who just ached for a week. I only know one other person who is experiencing what I am and that is horrible pains from the gas they inject you with for the laperscopy.
I ended up in the emergency room via ambulence on Wednesday morning. My chest and pancreas were exploding with pain and it did not stop for 4 hours. They gave me 2 doses of morphine and another shot of a drug that enhances the potencey of the morphine. I was finally able to relax.
I felt pretty good on Thursday and took my first shower (you can't have one until 2 days after surgery but I was in the ER all day and ill). Woke up Friday morning at 5:30am with the same pains as Wednesday but only about 1/8 the pain scale. Still it took my breath away and only goes away after a half hour of burping up gas and sitting upright. Very painful.
Same think happened today that the same time. I'm afraid to go to sleep but I am soooo tired. Typing is hard because I keep misspelling words and going back. I'm a bit anal and feel the need to correct them, lol.
Sorry that I sound so depressing but I really wanted to stop by and thank you all and let you know tht I'm still above ground. It meant so much to me.

so glad you made it through your surgery.luckily I had no pain after the surgery but I did sleep all night.they gave me a pill to help me sleep then my surgery was postponed because of a electrical outage for 5-6 hours. and I think they gave me another pill.I had no knowledge of going to surgery until I was awakened in the room beautiful scifi Nancy and welcome back

Nice render! We're all pulling for you, Nance. Hang in there!!!
It sounds like quite an ordeal that you've been going through. I hope it ends soon. Glad you made it through the surgery anyway. Super pic here Nancy, feel better!
Well, I'm glad everything went okay, although I wish you could pass without the pain. The first days were the same for me. Very painful. Coughing, sneezing and laughing were a real pain. And I was so groggry with painkillers that I laughed at every silly thing I saw. 8-) I wish your recovery goes well and that soon we have our Burpee -with less Burp- back. You did an impressive image by the way. The atmosphere is very good.
Ho minha amiga, fico triste em saber de sua dor e doença, rezo com toda a minha alma para que se recuperes bem. Agora doeu-me no coração saber do ocorrido. Voltar e ver uma obra sua sempre é algo que faz bem a alma. Ho my friend, I am sad in knowing of its pain and illness, I pray with all my soul so that you recover well. Now it ached me in the heart to know of the occurrence. To come back and to see a workmanship its always is something that makes the soul well.
Well, first I thought I had already commented here but must have just been a look see. Second, great image Nancy. Love the play on words in the title. Thirdly, glad to hear your still above ground. Forthly, so you spent 1/2 an hour burping? Is that why you choose Burpee as your Avatar? Fifthly, whose more anal than someone that numbers all their statements...lol. Best wishes for your bettering health and have a great Xmas if I don't hear from you again soon. Bravo on the image and hugs from Dave :^)
