Your pictures are so interesting. These homes are so interesting to look at. The construction of them.
Amazing that they even stay up, but they do, at least till the next big wind. Then they just build another. They're very similar to the "palapas" of Mexico, except for the stilts. I stayed in my share of them.

Looks like a shot out of the WW2 period. Excellent.
All built with natural resources Sig, I like the fence poles, I don't think they would keep that animal in that you can just see far right. Even though they don't look it I can imagine they are quite robust. I am too fond of my creature comforts to go living in one of these though. I wonder how often they have to replace the roof. Excellent capture Sig, thanks for sharing. Bravo!!!!!
