Description
This is another shot I had taken on the same day as the photo below, it is very cold here right now and I needed a summer like image. My daughter is performing in her Christmas Orchestra tonight, so I will try to come back after that and catch up with everyone. Have a super night!

When I find myself in times of trouble Mother Mary comforts me Speaking words of wisdom Let it Bee:) Great capture of the worker, hope the Orchestra night goes well!
Wow, captured through an electron microscope! This compo is so huge that I had to stand way back to let it sink in! Terrific clarity, vivid colors and textures in this ultra macro, Lynell!
Great macro shot!

I like the first one and this one. Great shot! I agree, we need a summer image. It is cold here too! Did you get snow?
wow!
this is an awesome shot !
superb detail on the wings.it has not been terribly cold here yet but the wind has blown for 4 days already up to 40mph so the wind chill is a problem

beautiful color and crop....=]
wonderful shot lynell and cute little bee...have fun tonight
Like PD154, "And when the night is cloudy, There is still a light that shines on me, Shine on until tomorrow, let it bee" Not much pollen around for this guy! Great capture! Clive
'Speaking words of wisdom let it be' Delightful and uplifting capture, super macro! I'm sure you will have enjoyed watching your daughter take part in the Christmas Orchestra, how wonderful!
you captured the bee here with this soft-focus on its body, and then its neck like it's a big woolly scarf! And the wings look like some kind of burnt wax paper! Fascinating capture & details. But then it's crawling out of some deep flower cavern, with petals sticking up like some kind of Medieval maze. Macros of nature are always interesting, but at their best they make nature look totally new: That's what you did here. I just know I never see flowers like this, and in this view it's a place I'm glad I'm not hanging out—maybe that's why the bee is on its way to Detroit! Fascinating capture and fun and bursting with those violets & reds. And wherever he got that scarf, I'd like to know if it's on sale... (btw, hope your daughter's performance went well! always a big deal to perform with an orchestra...)
Wonderful macro.
