Description
In a season which is supposed to be joyous and full of light, we are witness to a terrible tragedy. My daughter and her husband are becoming more and more distant from each other and are spiraling towards the inevitible conclusion.
Who is right, and who is wrong? Of course, they both are. Is it irreparable? No, but they both have to listen to each other, just listen. But now they have apparently moved to the point where this is no longer possible.
And so people who love them all dearly must sit and watch the drama unfold, helpless and already grieving for the innocent grandchildren caught in the middle of it. We can only sit and wait with heavy hearts laden with sorrow as our loved ones head into darkness...

you dont have to sit and watch - smack the pair of them upside the head and tell them the pearls of your wisdom!!!! a moving image non the less
Good message, bud! My wife worked in the domestic violence field for 20 years, and it's the same old story: kids caught in the middle. Sure hope they can get some professional help; don't give up!
Great atmosphere, just creating the right mood. Well done.
Larry my friend I am so very sorry to hear this news and know exactly this situation as I have seen so many go through it. The Grandkids are the one's who will suffer and all you can do is support your Daughter and hope God can work a miracle for them.
This is the first 3d art render i have seen that has true meaning !!!!! incredibly powerfull. awesome. Moving, 5+ for the art, and am sorry for the reality. Best wishes x
Excellent!!
This is such sad new for everyone. It never easy to see a dream die I hope that there might be some way they can wake up and work past it. Your images depicts the feelings very well. You and your family will be in my prayers.
Great lightwork and mood!
Very well done by you. Thank you. 5+.
This is so sad!!! I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's failing marriage. I hope that they can see eye to eye again and get their life back on track Your portrayal is excellent, the stark emptiness of the scene, the two children in the middle and the turned backs, a very poignant image indeed!!!
The starkness and darkness of the image hides the savage heat that rages deep within their souls, hidden but yet there for all to see. No platitudes will resolve this, it has to come from their own hearts.
Truly heart-rending!You and your family are in my thoughts tonight. I hope that they can somehow compromise with each other and remember, by looking at the children, that the marriage isn't the only casualty here. The best thing you can do is what you're doing already, letting your daughter and the children know that you are there for them.
Larry, I am sorry to hear the troubles with your family. Those poor children, they will need your love more than ever. My prayers and thought go to your family. Very touching image.
A sad situation and a very moving image. I hope that things can work out OK for them even at this late stage.

Masterpiece!
This is a heart-wrenching picture too, Larry. I'm sorry that you're loved ones went through such a rough patch - and you with them. Since this was a while back, I hope it all resolved for the better. Thanks for sharing, though, and for understanding why I had to do my sad picture as well. It really did connect with yours without me knowing it. Gun aka redheadgrrl

I hope this worked out for the better, as I am reading and posting late.
This is just too painful for me to say much. Been there, done that. Your image speaks volumes and captures the torment perfectly. I hope that sharing this with us has helped you to cope.
