Sitting with the desert wind
Blowing in my face
Looking down on our place
I can hear thunder
Off in the distance
I wonder how far away it is
How far away you are
It moves across me
And I feel you in its power
I remember us
Watching the lighting
Listening to the thunder
Laying in each others arms
Sharing our dreams
Of how we were going to change the world
I never dreamed
You would catch the wind
And change my world
The way you did
When that warm
Summer Breeze kicks up
I tilt my head back
Listen for your voice
Praying it is calling me
To where ever you are at
But it is always
just the wind
