Tara took me to her brother's today for Thanksgiving and it was a most wonderful day. Trent LOVES to cook and he outdid himself. Here he is making the MOST decadent appetizer I think I've ever had--cranberry brie----oh yummmmmmmm!!! And that was just the beginning; I'm more stuffed than the turkey!!
THANK YOU, TRENT!!!

It really IS delicious! :) (I had a little bit as a before bedtime snack ... if you want some, you better get in the kitchen before I go back for more!) This is a great shot of Trent. Nicely done!
Cranberry Brie, sounds like an appetizer from Desperate Housewives, MMMMmmmm, I bet it is good!!!
What a fabulous portrait! I love the intimacy in the shot. And knowing what he's making is "icing on the cake." I love brie and I love cranberries more. I can easily imagine how awesome they would taste together.
Brie is my fav with any berry sause... cranberry sounds perfect!!! Lovely shot of Trent - I like the backlighting!!! Sounds like you two are having loads of fun... :)
Superb pic!
When the men get the women out of the kitchen other sights and sounds and smells begin.
OHHHHHH man that cooks....gotta love that!
Geoaskier...The worlds best chefs are men?...This is a fantastic shot, the against the textbook blown highlights serve to surround the subject well, giving an almost etherial glow, nice one Maz
it's a nice shot marilyn because you got a long sweep of the counter, with the right-end tapering into reflective shadows. Lovely feeling. Nice tonal variations too (the beiges & whites of the counter, and the sharp blacks of the walls & spaces around them). Sweet, reflective piece...As for fruited brie, I've had it with strawberries, and trust me, cranberries have gotta be better. (Not that you're interested, but last night I had 'hard' cheese, or that's what they called it: You could've sold that stuff to the Pentagon. I dropped a piece and there was a minor earthquake...) Anyway, a very thoughtful shot, reflective & caring about your subject, and you caught Trent in a thoughtful, absorbed pose. (next time you should upload the food...think about it. I'm sure there's a freeware that allows you to do it...)
Wonderful portrait, he looks totally involved in his work. Nicely done!
Wonderful portrait and atmosphere!
Artiste at work...great shot....
yum and glad you are stuffed means you enjoyed warm hug, Linda
Complete concentration on his work. Many men friends are very accomplished cooks and they find it great relaxation...and the results are so appreciated! Sounds excellent!
Stellar silhouetting gives testimony to the excellent lighting effects in this shot of Trent at work plying his cooking abilities, Marilyn!
Wonderful capture and brie is one of my favorites. Never heard of cranberry brie though!
Sounds delicias. great shot
I'm hungry!
There is elegance galore in this shot and as stated above, it's a fantastic and intimate portrait. Okay, now for the nerdy part of my comment: it looks like there's a mughoe pine outside the window. I could be wrong, but I noticed it immediately; I grew up in a house that had those and I'd spend many a spring day watching the defensive ballet of sawfly larvae pretending to be pine needles. But anyway, all of that aside, this is a warm and inviting photo, and yeah, I'm gonna have to find a way to get some cranberry brie...I've never even heard of it!
