Description
There is a saying that teaches us to never judge someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes!!! This pair certainly did more than a mile in its lifetime. Luckily they are still of great use in the form of proud planters.... :)
I shot this image at a nursery in Potchefstroom, South Africa and did use it in the Forum Challenge almost two months ago.

I thought they were good in the forum Carin, so glad you posted them here for a wider audience to see them. I used a pair of wellingtons in a similar way quite a while back, I have also used car tyres stacked four high for growing potatoes in. Got a good crop of them as well. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

Love this cool and earthy shot!! I can't throw away anything that could be turned into something artistic and interesting. I myself too have old sneakers next to the trash waiting to become planters. Neat work you do!!
