i really like the composition. you put the viewer in a comfortably enclosed space full of life, which underscores the emptiness of the beach. also the viewer is in a green space, while the sunset fills the figure's environment with the colors of fire. a powerful contrast.

Oh you just did so great here. Close up view it looks like an canvas... nice photoshop trick for sure but so well done by hands of a master because you then go on to make it look like an oil painting brush work.
