Description
How many folks go to the zoo and come home with a bee image? Please ZOOM on this for detail...not just of the bee but the flower too.
Looking through my files for a change of pace shot, I came upon this little guy taken this past July.
Time to say thank you all again for your recent helpful comments and favorite selections.
Have a great day,
Bill

Excellent shot, beautiful macro!*****
WOW! A wonderful shot! Beautiful.
Awesome shot!! :)
Incredible work! Outstanding. Though, a trip to the Zoo and a bee? Well, OK..... Rob
Wonderful and very creative work
bee-yootiful!! I'm a sucker for these macro shots - your colors here are just terrific - not over saturated and extremely pleasing. The DOF works perfectly here, with the colors of the bee and the yellow-toned background. Your composition is also primo!
That is a stunning presentation of such a common subject. Close up the detail is amazing.A good lesson in how observing the ordinary can produce the extraordinary.Nice one Bill.
What an excellent macro shot.....
Wonderful macro, well done!
Super close-up, Bill.
Very beautifully done. You exhibit your skills at postwork here and also your trained eye for composition.
Nice macro! Excellent detail on the wings.

Stunning macro Bill, so much detail
Firstly - This is a stunning detailed image with a perfect DOF... Real awesome image Bill! Secondly - LMAO for you taking pictures of a bee in the zoo... I guess there is a first time for everything!!!
A great shot taken with your usual skill Bill but I couldn't zoom in on this one. I hate bees and wasps lol.
Splendid macro, apparently taken through an electron microscope because of its extreme clarity and detail. Excellent composition, Bill!
I usually look for other critters in the zoo here because of the limited ability to make a clear unobstructed capture without dealing with chain link wire.excellent macro
Very well captured! Excellent
