Description
Chalfont St.Giles Buckinghamshire UK.
Not ventured out for a while with camera (getting withdrawl symptoms from lack of camera use lol) so I'm searching my archives discs and files.
Thanks for all your continued support, you are a great bunch!...Alan
Incidentally...further up this road is where the Great English writer and poet John Milton has his Museum famous for writing Paradise Lost among other works!

Excellent scene..
It breaks my heart that I cannot have a brew in the pub. I did see a pub, yeah? (It's been a while since I was in Britain.)
The pub is called Merlins Cave !
Excellent scene here nicely captured for us. This scene looks very familiar to me...just can't recall the old BBC TV series name but it had Emma Peale (sp?) in it and this town was used as I recall...some skull duggery going on with the town's people and their museum, etc. Recall any of that? Bill
Bill...Emma peel was in a TV series long time ago 60's early 70's called "THE AVENGERS", I didn't know that they shot it here!
Really archetypal view here, Alan! I've not been to Bucks. This is just the sort of weather for a pub lunch, you've got me interested now!
Excellent shot..great work
A very lovely shot of this little cosy willage.
What year did you take this Alan, reason I ask is because the sun is out and the ground looks dry. Lol. Quite a typical sort of view for lots of English Villages, a couple of shops and a pub. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

What a beautiful English village! Interesting capture :)
Beautiful shot
I have spent more time on the English mainland this year than any other time and adore some of the beautiful village settings. A superb capture. I am now quite partial to Lincolnshire but indeed Buckinghamshire looks pleasant.
beautiful capture, Alan warm hug with a smile, Linda
Gorgeous!
I am very taken with those chimneys - so tall and varied. I love the look of this cluster of brick buildings.
Take away the cars and a couple of signs and this could be a very long time ago--great shot!!
I love the little villages in England; this is no exception, it's a real beauty! Great shot!
