I am as amazed at everyone else here at the waste left behind, who would have guessed this. Seems pretty sad to me.
To tell about a life, it is necessary to be able, having added all this a photo!!!! Wonderfully!
Whatever happened to "gleening" a field? Guess they wouldn't even get enough for a bale and probably wouldn't be able to sell it anyway. It's all about big.
Can't really say I've seen cotton fields before, cool shot though jock!!
This shot is very interesting to me, because during the last WW my father was working 2 years in the cotton fields (as a german prisonnier)- Super image! Hug's Ute
that really looks like some improvement would be good...smile... intersting shot, Jocko
Great shot of the field, Jock. I'm amazed at all the loss in the cotton harvesting. If the wind blows, they lose it. If they wait a day too long, they lose it. Then even if it's the best, they take it down the road and you see it all along the highway. At the gin, they leave it in bales and a lot more gets lost. We saw where some animal dug a hole in a big bale and made a nice sleeping place, and more cotton on the loose to be lost.
Looks like a good way of making a few extra dollars if someone was to collect the waste and sell it back to the growers. In these hard times I know I would lol! Excellent capture Jock!
Brilliant!
