Description
This is another shot from my recent California Redwoods vacation. The walls of this little canyon right on the coast are literally covered with ferns. It's a very pleasant place for a quiet walk.
Pictures from this trip and my trip to Pennsylvania to try to catch some fall color are at my SmugMug gallery. I've also started a gallery of fractals there, too. There's nothing new there yet, as I'm redoing my favorites in larger sizes before doing new ones. You can see them here if you're so inclined.
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Gorgeous capture ... It looks so serene ... And i love all the greenery ....
I have lived here for over 30 years and have yet to visit Fern Canyon; this will make me do it----soon!!
Beautiful capture...
What a wonderful sight Dennis! I'd never have believed it, all those beautiful ferns cascading onto the path; they surely must be growing on the side of high banks.
Wonderful capture, Excellent well done..
Wonderful and very creative work
Very cool! Excellent find and capture.
What a fabulous place!
What an absolutely gorgeous place. Your photograph makes me want to be there! Beautiful image.
Wow! I'd love to see that....marvelous shot!
Gorgeous. Makes me miss the green ferns and trees of the west coast.
This is beautiful! I'm going to put this on my list of places to go when we go back to the Redwoods.
This must be a naturally built canyon but the walls are so straight and tall that it amazes me. The thick ferns would seem to say it doesn't get much flooding through here to continue carving out this area. Wonderful discovery and capture.
What lush green serenity! Thanks for taking us along :)
Wonderful fernwall.
Wonderful scene! :)
Beautiful path.....Excellent. Aloha
