A complete redo of my previous concept.
Only the foreground is Terragen, the rest postworked in, this time with a little more care put into the details.

Geez, looks like the Sci-Fi series bug has bitten ya too! The extra care really paid off.
Quite impressive. That moon and planet's star must be quite dim and/or distant, for the stars to be so bright in comparison to the landscape.
Excellent composition: love the contrast between the vibrancy and energy of the celestial, and the cold starkness of the terrain.
Ummm.. not your usual..but the idea is there.. I like azrabella's suggestion..:)
