what a wonderful building why do they not rebuild it it deserves a good future and not one in rubble it is fantastic Don't let them add metal and glass and other modern things to it not a restoration in the Reichstag style (germany).. but a real restoration medieval style. Make it happen..

It's a fine line between restoration and making things worse. Stabilization of a place like Fountains is probably best. A restoration? To what degree? The church alone? Some of the out buildings? All of them? and then what? A museum? a working church? Which denomination? A disco or casino? Besides, the rest of the story is in Fountains Hall... we do get there, no?
