Description
Whenever I need to clear my mind, find some peace, just get away, I go to the beach. It doesn't matter what kind of a day it is, I always find that serenity I need. This was a cold, foggy day. The surf had been huge just hours before, and left behind a beach empty of anything but the smooth sand and newly carved rivers of tidal wash. I walked for hours, taking it all in. I sat and watched as the waves rolled in, sometimes two or three or evern four lines of breakers at once. The ocean.....my salvation, my peace.

Solace for the mind and soul...
This is beautiful...I have a place of solitude too...a walk through the woods not too far from home....It's my time to be in tune with nature and find a part of me that seems to get lost in the shuffle from time to time.
Such a beautiful way to convey such a deep part of yourself.

The sand is wonderful here. dark and wet and solid. Love the view.
I suppose there is that "only child of God" aspect to being a pagan. Tension turned inside out to expose nothing. Amazing how clever and interesting nothing is.

I think we all crave some peace and quiet sometimes or maybe even a little space to do the things that please us .I think a cold beach speaks volumes in terms of being a different world :o) Mick
