Description
Hello!
A little break from the series again, this time with a leaf. Doesnt it look like leather?
ZOOM is a good idea :)
Thanks for your kind comments to yesterdays post. Special thanks to those who added it to their favorites. I am very grateful. :))
Have a great day :)
We had frosty weather this morning all over the country. Here, near the coast it is a little milder, so no frost, but rather low degrees. BRRRR! But I see the sun out there too. :)

very fine image, helle - great colour and detail
Exactly like leather, my thoughts exactly. A super capture. FAV
Beautiful macro detail, Helle. It reminds me of fingerprints. I wonder if each leaf is totally individual like humans fingerprints are. How incredible and awe inspiring that would be or is.
Awesome texture Helle - most mosaic like! Bravo!
Intricate pattern and a wonderful bronze colour! great photography!

I saw the image and thought, "Wow - it looks just like leather!" Then I read what you'd written. :) Beautiful!
Just like leather - we have a consensus - now do leaves have individuality, no idea - fantastic image
Fabulous details and colors... a great macro!
This does look much like seasoned leather. Very nice.
This is a must see zoomed in, fabulous texture and detail.
Fantastic colors and texture.Wonderful macro.
YES I agree that the texture of this leaf looks like old leather. And with it it gives a very original, beautiful and intruiging picture. I had not access to the data of the picture. I would have preferred a smaller aperture (f/16 or — this depends of the focal length you used— f/18 or even f/22), resulting in a much better depth of field. But perhaps it would have reduced the depth effect of the image.
wow! Fabulous details, textures and colors! Superb macro!
amazing how similar this looks to leather...smile
I love this texture! Wonder how you reached this dissolution within 0.5 MB!
