Description
a shot from earlier this week, some of my shots of the kestrel were spotted by a bird owner who liked them and i got a commision to shoot his finnish gosshawk.
managed to pull over 800 shots of the bird and this is the first one to come out of photoshop.
many more to process yet, not sure im happy with this one and maybe it could do with a little more work, im sure you,ll let me know.
hope you all have a good weekend.

amazing detail, what a beautiful bird!
Excellent work!!!
Fabulous clarity , a wonderful close-up capture indeed.
great..!
love your capture and postwork drawn to its speckled feathers - the background really makes this - exceptional work!!!
I was looking for something critical to say but could only find praise! Great work of this stunning bird! :)
No faults by me, Excellent
wow!! great bird of prey portrait! RS
Great looking bird! Congrats on the commission.
You've added a great sky as the background but the flecks in it (i'm not sure what else to call them as they don't look like noise) detract from the lovely shot of the bird. I think the whole background could do with a decent amount of gaussian blur to give this the long-lens look, that will place more emphasis on the subject, pulling the viewer in.
So sweet. 5+.
What a marvelous capture!
what can I say but "Nice". Perfect backdrop as well
Fantastic image!! I don't think it needs any work at all.
Very beautiful!
It seems to me, that this Kestrel has just emerged from the water and is, basically speaking, hangin' out to dry...hehe Finely detailed nature capture. Cheers BB
This is very lovely!! The background colors really pull out the complimentary colors of the feathers.
Awesome capture!!!
