Beautiful! This is somewhere I would love to see, I'm more into sightseeing and a bit of art and culture now my family has grown up, gone are the days where I would spend the entire two weeks lying on a beach while on holiday lol.

Another amazing ceiling...a fresco? You've even captured what appears to be a series of cracks or imperfections. Very well done and thank you for sharing these things with us. My only experience with the Vatican has been my wife watching Christmas eve mass there on TV. She watched for the combined beauty of the pagentry and the setting and the spiritual atmosphere that superintended the entire mass. Not bad for a couple of Protestants, huh :-) Bill
