Description
i have been watching these trees and had decided the time was right when a wind storm came upon us out of nowhere, it was like a blizzard out there. even though the sun was in the wrong position i took the photo between gusts. the yellow leaves on the pavement are from a tree just out of picture on the left.

They are beautiful against that blue sky!! love to see more of them!
Wonderful capture
LOL - One thing I don't miss about where I live... those massive piles of leaves! Growing up, that was my job - to rake them so my dad could get them to the curb to burn them. Yup, back then we burned our leaves on the street. I was so happy when he bought a leaf sweeper - a big thing I pushed with a long, revolving brush on the front that swept the leaves into a canvass catcher behind it. It sure made things easier but I could still never get all the leaves up before a gust of wind brought down another few thousand of them. :-)
Marvellous colours.
Just amazing!!! So glad you caught it before the wind could blow it all off and PJ has to rake it!!! lol... :)
Slow to turn and quick to leave....no pun there right? Well done!
