Description
Been playing with a lot of my WWII models. Hope I'm not boring you. Manfred, this one's for you for chiding me about always shooting up your countrymen. As you know, a lot of military work is just a drudge--sentry duty being only one of a host. This was true of the German World War II military and all other military forces before and since. I expect if we went back to caveman times, we'd find there was someone who had to do the grunt work.
Thanks for your visit and your previous comments.
Jeremy

Nice Work!!
Okay what's up, I just commented on this one! Looks like the original went AWOL! Never boring always a pleasure to see your work. Now advance and be recognized! :O)
Beautiful image! Excellent work!
Cool scene, excellent work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So good you posted it twice ( not New York as I remember it).Worth 2 comments though.More like this would be a treat.(though not this one in particular):)
Great image, Jeremy. Interesting use of a telephoto lens, if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, how could we be bored with WWII - it's better than WWIII.
Hey, that guard's looking a little lack.... oh well, must work is drudgery -- that's why they call it work.
well done ... excellent image!
Great scene and love Fw190's! One point I find a bit 'off putting'. The grass looks 'wrong'. To flat? But the rest is great stuff and I agree about the boredom of guard duty! Some poor sod has to do it. Rob.
Beautiful render!
Excellent scene !
Well done !
Nicely done render of day to day stuff.
I could live with the guard duty if it meant spending time with Fw190's and a Kubelwagen. A very nice scene. Emil.
I love your detailed scenes such as this one. Only one nit, not your fault I'm sure: The vehicle needs a more realistic paint job, tex details. For sure this is not a criticism - this is a WONDERFULLY composed scene! Great job!
AHHHH, My Grandfather had been in the Luftwaffe, unfortunately not flying one of those neat Focke Wulf, he was boardmechanic in a Junkers Ju 52...lol. Your absolutely correct with your statement. Of a hundred men you need eighty for all the work around, (logistics, maintainence , cooking etc) just to keep 20 fighting grin. Ty for the dedication...fine pic greets Django
Very well done!
Super job Jeremy. It's grabbed the atmosphere present in most wartime scenes. As somebody said, "War is mostly lots of waiting interposed with bits of action". The boredom is actually quite visible here, quite an achievement.
Very well composed scene! Well done!
Very well done!!!
