Description
I really liked the late afternoon sunlight slanting through this redwood grove. It's such a peaceful and serene place that it's unusual to hear loud noises. Even the people who are there seem to be quieter than you would expect.
The comments about Deb's size on previous uploads reminded me of a post from a while back. Take a look at this one for comparison. :-)
Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

beautifuly captured lovely light and redwood setting!!!
I gotta say, these beams of light are really outstanding. They come in from the side which further points out the size of these trees!
Beautiful...
Fantastic capture and light.
Fantastic capture of the light filtering through the trees. Excellent!
Exceptional shot. Very peaceful.
What a great capture. The contrasts are amazing. Visited your link. I remember seeing that photo but had forgotten the tiny trees. Isn't nature fantastic?
I agree with you about the light ... it's gorgeous! Thanks for the look back. I'll have to check out that part of your gallery - it was before my time. I've been to Mt. Edith Cavell, and I know the lake you mentioned. Now I'm off to take a peek! :)
Oh, Dennis, I love this shot. Seeing sun rays like this are some of my favorite shots and this one is breathtaking.
You're making me homesick--nowhere else on earth do you see this kind of light, what a gorgeous shot!!
Outstanding capture!
Beautiful capture. I love the sun shining through the trees and all the green ... Something we are losing here quickly with winter on the way ...
Excellent capture! :)
J'entends comme souffler le vent dans les branches - merveilleuse luminosité
terrific pic!
The rays a sneaking in there. Beautiful. Aloha
Sometimes when trees are 'breathing' you get those marvelous localized faint mists that make spectacular rays! Great capture :)
so special with the rays coming through
