Description
What our Earth may look like in a few billion years. The Sun's diameter has swollen many fold and becomes much hotter. Our solitary Moon, now in a closer orbit makes its transit across the solar disk.
But on a lighter note, today is FRIDAY, oh yeah!!! Have a great weekend (3 days for me!) and thanks for looking in!

What the Earth may look like next week if sanity is not restored quickly. High fidelity work.
Wonderful story, wonderful pic... have a nice weekend !!
Strong image, Rich! Have a nice WE too!
Excellent realisation. Actually, I think the moon is slowly moving away from us, and may eventually escape orbit.
Wow Richard! Awesome work on the sun an moon and everything fits well together!
why would the moon be closer again ? it is drifting away... other than that GREAT
Nice textures and sun!
Well done and projected
This image promotes some realistic thoughts about how the far future might be. Very well done Rich.
Nicely toned render; quality work. Is'nt there even the odd indestructible cockroach to be seen?
Awesome, I love it...of course the moon was pushed closer by the expanding sun....most excellent and fav'ed
Very very nice my brother, well done and good to see you posting again.
Very nice image. Cool terrain and great surface. I also like the atmosphere. Well done. Happy weekend to you, too.
A capture done by Rich, inhabitant of Proxima Centauri! A very beautiful work, my friend! :)
This would be time to inhabit Mars. At such an exspansion of the sun may naturally lead to Mars terraforming!!! Love the sky!!!
WOW... not only is the title perfect, but the planet over the sun gives the mood an even more desolate feel. Beautiful work Rich
Surfacing is inspiring in this piece.
Wonderful Mood!!!
