Description
We saw this baboon shortly after entering the Pilansberg Game Reserve in South Africa this past Sunday. There was a whole troop, although this one and his mate was having some 'alone' time away from the group. lol...
Thanks for popping in and for any comments on this image as well as my previous upload.

Fantastic shot!
FANTASTIC WORK....
Very impressive and powerful image. Excellent.
I love this image. Animals are a fascinating subject of artistic study, and I see this image as a perfect example of that. There's always a certain regal quality that wild animals possess, and it's often over-sentimentalized, or turned into something cartoonish. This image is perfect in that you've captured the essential "baboon-ness" of this intriguing, and apparently thoughtful creature! Great work and an excellent peek into the things that happen in your corner of the world! I love it!
It seems like the grass had caught on fire at one time? This one seems like he has something on his mind. Excellent capture. Aloha
wonderful colours, such a lovely pose of this hiding monkey.....and your title is what Django is doing now at the moment....
Oh So beautiful :)
Excellent POV!! Grea capture!!!!
I have heard their reputation is unfounded as they tend to be timid.the movies paint them as wild beasts out to kill for fun.still, I would not approach them for sure. excellent capture
Ahh!! ~Awesome~ Thanks for sharing... FABULOUS!!!
hehe very nicely done Carin, don't think he's doin too well at hide&seek!
Superb closeup on this baboon, and the dof here , plus your excellent presentation add to the vividness of the scene. 5+++
Wonderful Work!!!
Beautifully photographed Carin. I see you used your 'big' lens. I can't wait to use mine. I had my lens with me on the last trip but didn't take the time to use it!
he looks like thinking about a very tough problem...smile... fine shot
