Description
We saw this baboon shortly after entering the Pilansberg Game Reserve in South Africa this past Sunday. There was a whole troop, although this one and his mate was having some 'alone' time away from the group. lol...
Thanks for popping in and for any comments on this image as well as my previous upload.

OH! Carin, what a great capture, you are so lucky to have these opportunities, well done you!
A splendid capture, the dry grasses and depth of field add to the image. I must say the grass looks very scorched Carin!

Lovely and adorable capture. I like it's DOF a lot ;O)
What a great expression. So pensive... I find them to be so interesting - independent and so very fierce! Stunning capture of this wild creature with the human appearance...

I have to agree with your comment 'They are fascinating creatures.' Carin, they are also one of the most ferocious. I wouldn't want to be alone with one at any rate.lol. Excellent capture, I can see it's not rainy season where you are. Bravo!!!!!
Excellent capture Carin.I didn't see them when i was there.Trust i will see them though when i am there again.Hoop om volgende keer met n bakkie daar te wees.Die paaie is nie goed vir n gewone motor nie, veral nie daai klippies wat op sommige grondpaaie uitsteek nie.
Excellent work Carin!

Beautiful shot, the frame just sets it off perfectly!!
Superb capture Carin! Wonderful colors and presentation! Baboons always seem a little sad to me, maybe they are just wary. Glad you liked Alex's work:-)(((C)))

Now thats a pretty special shot Carin
Super shot of the ape, contemplating its next move while relaxing on the vast veldt, Carin. Oh, we should also remind our audience that these guys can be quite vicious.
