Description
Fuji FinePix A330
Villa d'Este. Sept 2008.
My little camera doesn't really do justice to this fountain...a wider angle/stitch of multiple pics would do it more justice.
Villa d'Este has numerous water features/fountains all flowing due to natural hydraulics no mean task back in the 1500's when they were created. The Tivoli Fountain also known as the Oval Fountain( has an oval shaped bowl) was constructed 1564-70 by Curzio Maccarone and was designed by Pirro Ligorio.
