Your replacing the sky really adds one helluva dramatic send-off to this structure...going out in a blaze of glory...the sky also echoes the projecting lines of the building. Very fitting capture for your 1,700th posting.

Wow - congrats on your 1700th post. Gosh - will I ever get there??? Great sky and sad about the building being demolished...
Looks like a pefectly good building to me. Must of out grown the crowd or the team that used it. Excellent perspective and the sky adds to that pov.
I too am amazed at the buildings that are being torn down for no reason that can be seen. It looks pretty OK to me, there may well be something wrong with it,but it doesn't look like it. I think they rip them down in the name of progress, a new direction, urban renewal, call it what you will. I guess we will just have to wait and see what ever they put there Richard. Excellent image for your archives, you will have to go back and keep us up with whatever they decide upon. The sky worked a treat, very dramatic. Congratulations on 1700. Bravo!!!!!
Cool sky, excellent capture and work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hummmm a splendid historic building will disappear can be to be seen growing one scrapes sky where it will be necessary to make a hole in holds Richard lol.... Bravo and beautiful prospect and not in its demolition lol!!!! Mile mercies ((5++)) Hummmm Un magnifique monument historique disparaîtra peut être pour se voir grandir un gratte ciel où il faudra faire un trou dans le tient lol Richard Bravo et belle perspective et non pas dans sa démolition lol. Mile mercis ((5++))
I'm with Nekhbetsun--it just seems so odd to trash a building that looks quite nice on the outside! Love your added sky, too!
A nice ultrawide angle image and a beautiful collage of the sky on the building.
