Description
The shape of the trees indicates the direction and force of the wind that blows throughout much of the year here at the Pt. Reyes Lighthouse. The Reyes Peninsula is one of the foggiest and windiest places along the Pacific Coast. Windspeeds between 75 to 100 mph have been recorded. This picture was taken on 20 September 2008.
