Great image. kinda reminds me of an alien ready to open wide and take in the next victim (just watched MIIB) and was thinking of Jeff the tunnel alien

Very interesting, I haven't ever seen the origins of the walnut.

Fantastic capture of this, we take these things for granted, the green part we don't see in the shops, yep!, I do get more creative when I can't sleep :))
Fascinating, indeed! I've never seen a walnut still encased in its outer shell before! Great shot and thanks for teaching us something today!

Excellent shot, my friend.......a beautiful work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROBY
READY FOR EAT :)) BEAUTIFUL MACRO
Very nice, the only time I see Walnuts is Christmas, well the only time I take any notice. When I was little at Xmas we put our stockings out and Christmas day we got an orange a present and some nuts in our stockings. If we were lucky we got two presents, one of which would be home made. Not like the Christmas's of today. We see these in the Supermarket and take them for granted, I have never seen them in this stage of their life. Excellent capture, very interesting. Bravo!!!!!
"Little Shop Of Horrors" springs to mind! Well done, Clive
how cool this is, I have never seen this before
