Azores, Fajal island. It's the best harbour in the Azores, and the meeting place for oceangoing yachts. We stayed in the ancient fortress, converted to a posh "pousada". The concierge asked us how the atlantic crossing had gone, and when we confessed that we had no yacht but had come by plane he clearly dismissed us as lower class people ...
