Description
Nikon 7900 pocket camera, hand-held image.
I have posted an image of this species before but it has been a long time. I am still not overly fond of Roaches but this species is not as offensive as most. They are colorful and live outdoors. I have never seen one inside a building, lol.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

Having lived on the Gulf Coast, I could tell you tales - OH could I tell you tales about all the species of cockroaches I've had the ... hummm ... not so much pleasure to encounter and the many places they have appeared. This is a wonderful shot and it shows they have more dimensions that just flat and stuck to my shoe. :-(
nice photo of the beautiful beetle - however apparently not so “nice” ....
Wonderful
come to the south there everywhere.***************************************************
Great macro.
A wondeful pic, it looks super against the simple green background.
Not the most pleasant of creatures, but another fine shot !
Wonderful macro..
nice capture...
Like yourself not a species I am over fond of, and also like PJ, they usually end up stuck to my shoe. You wouldn't believe how many of these I have seen, in the execution of my duties I may add. As an Environmental Officer they go with the job, no escape. I have never come across this particular specie before Lee, but then I did my hunting indoors. Excellent capture, superb details. Bravo!!!!!
fantastic macro work
Great capture. Nasty little creature. Even if it's not the household kind. ;o) Bunny
Great shot!
Fine macro!
