Description
I met an amazing little creature today, something completely new to me.
Much smaller than a honeybee and not segmented like a bee, he had a long forked "beak" and that drop of fluid just 'grew' from the base of the "fork".
He had flown to another perch, and the drop of fluid was gone, then I watched as it was magically emitted once again, the fork shape holding it in place.
What the purpose of this is or what the name of this insect is, I have no idea. Perhaps Leeco will know.
Thanks very much for your views and comments.
