Description
Here's something completely different from me! I don't believe I've ever posted an image of any sort of vehicle before.
I'm not a car buff ... everything I know about this automobile comes from having researched the nameplate on the back. My only claim to knowledge here is that I can read!
If anyone can tell me the year this was manufactured, you would increase my knowledge base by 50%.
I saw this car in the Arboretum parking lot the day Allison and I went down there to take pictures of the gardens.
..........
The image is nice and big, so full view will increase your enjoyment, assuming you're enjoying this to begin with! :) If you're not, well ... thanks for stopping by anyway. It was fun to work with a different subject!

Nice collage and an interesting subject :) I've heard of Citroen but never saw one... well I guess I have now ;)
I thought I got into Jeff's or Alan's or Mick's pages by mistake!! This is SO different from your usual fotos, but very bit at good. Sharp, clear and full of detail!!
How nice retro picture. But I hate 2CV. When i was young my father had one : very uncomfortable on thousand of miles ! After we had a DS Citroen, a better one !
Something new from you and sound like you enjoyed taking a shot of this beauty. Great collage but I have to love the left down picture for the cool close compo.
Nice collage and neat looking car...
sure is a cool looking car, and it appears to be a convertible too. great shots!!!
beautiful. it is almost impossible to tell when it was manufactured - they were made the same way for many years. they are called 'ugly duckling' in holland and i love them! they can be compared with the dc3 - it's just basic, but everything you need is there.
This is GREAT! A lovely collage of a lovely vehicle, (which is not, incidentyally the first vehicle you have posted as I clearly remember a very attractive wheelbarrow that Marilyn wanted!)
I have heard they are extremely popular in other parts of the world and much like owning a KIA or VW bug for us in the US. Only I also hear they are a rough ride - but they last forever and day. :-) These are wonderful shots. You got ever angle worth getting and each is clear and well composed.
Excellent composition! :)
great collage...
Quick guess would be 1954 or 1956 but that's just a guess. Koosie is correct. Great collage.
… reminds me of my “recent” years! These cars never drove but pleased property to one me always! Beautiful photos!!!!!
I can't tell you the year Tara, it is a car I never liked and one I never wanted to own, the gear change was mounted on the dash and it was wierd to drive. Janiss will love it though. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
We had an arsonist in Bournemouth many years ago who specialised in setting fire to the soft tops of these! and years before we had one who had it in for Robin Reliant 3 wheelers! I do know they were designed to be able to carry 2 people and a goat across steep fields in France.
Wonderful collage!
Wonderful capture, Excellent well done..
Cool car and you sure don't see many (if any) of them around...neat shot Tara ~
Fascinating car and great shots! :D
'veggie wagon' we used to call them.... can carry eggs across fairly rough ground without breakages...
Interesting presentation!
Cute little tin can :)))
Wow! Tara this is sooo different from your usual stuff. A super collage, great captures of this little french car. I'm impressed !
A splendid collage of this 'deux-chevaux' which is part of the French national heritage, or almost ;-)Excellent capture! (Personally, I think this version of the car is quite recent, 2000 or something, and made in Portugal, as no-one ever makes them now in France)
Hi Tara May sure would be fun to drive wonderful capture full of smiles sweet sunshine to you warm hug and love, Linda Kaye
Great car. I owned a VW Fastback which was a little larger than this car! P.S. I am playing catchup with my comments on other's images!
Cool images... really well presented.
i agree.
Ah the Deux chevaux fine collage and about the year this one was build I will ask my brother cause he is a freak in 2cv and owns 2 or 3 of them and builds his own trailers for them.. I bet he can tell me...smile
something with a european flavor -- nice collage and cool new subject!
