thanks for viewing and any comments. I am way behind in comments because I have went 3 days this week to parks in the DFW area that I never been to. took many pictures and will be posting soon
the black car in the bottom right is my Corolla XRS. I replaced my FJCruiser with it so I could afford to drive around taking pictures

I for one love images like this Richard of small towns and cities and best of all they are from a area I know very well. You never realize how incredible some of the old structures were until you take time to study the history on them.
Great American architecture... excellent shots!
Small towns are so quaint. One of your shots looks a lot like downtown Hilo Hi. Very nice to see how small towns are still in the picture. So quiet and friendly looking. Aloha

Photographers are fortunate in that no one asks them if they own what they are photographing realizing they cannot actually make the things in the photos. Except for model releases they can produce unencumbered by challenges.
Shining work.
Right out of a 60's movie. Stunning photos Richard.
Beautiful scenes, excellent captures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The architecture typical of the West and you have captured them wonderfully. Hey, stay safe down there with hurricane Ike on your heels.
It seems that it is a pleasant and beautiful city to live here. Nice photos although somewhat shortened in the largest dimension. I would very much like to visit here; years ago I have been in Orlando for a report of the PMA (PhotoMarketing Association, biggest show of photo cameras in the US); I could take only one hour about 3 days I spent at the exhibit to visit the city as a tourist, but I took a fantastic pleasure during this hour! My best wishes for you and people you cherish not to be concerned by the storm!
Beatiful shots...love the old buildings
