Description
This was taken the day after the storm. This is at Lake Martin. Gators grow at about a foot a year at first intill they get to a certen age then they grow more slowly. I can saftly say this gator is about two years old. Saw two of them like that that day. This is the best shot of them.
check out goodoboys gallery as he have some gator shots too
thanks for looking and comments.

Amazing shot, Jock. And very interesting information too. Did not know they grew that slow. But i bet they can bite your finger, even if only 2 feet long. The big ones must be very old... Fascinating portraying of these beautiful pre-historic animals.+5
Super capture, Jock. They really blend in with their surroundings. Don't know why I didn't receive the ebot notification for your upload.
When I was in Florida, I saw some pretty BIG ones. Glad you were at a safe distance. Aloha, nice shot.

Interesting to see and hear about these gators. Aloha
Once you have the gator spotted he/she fits right into her/his environment and you need to avoid the paparazzi threat of overexposure.
