Description
The new Fort set is still in the early stages but the walls at least are taking shape.
The door shown here opens and closes and the door bolts work too.

A tough decision on bump, texture, displacement map and modelling. 8 x 10 glossies or polaroid. How would a blind person perceive it?

Super realistic looking Mike and love the way your doors work as well as the bolts and are not just for show.
WOW......that is an amazingly realistic and true door. The color of the wood, the rusty hinges and the chinking between the logs are superb. I would have thought it was a photograph if I had not known. lol. Love it just as it is actually. Hugssss
Mike your stuff is always superb, and this is tops by even your high standards. One nitpicky: The knots, ripples etc. on the beam above lines up directly with the identical pattern on the door lintel just below. Maybe if you offset one of them a bit or reverse the direction of the tex it won't be so noticable for closeups like this one. Other than this little nit, this stuff is fabulous!
