Description
Another exercise for the online course, this time using mixed materials. I did the lower image first, then decided to add some rain - which increased the render time from 2 to just under 12 hours (left running overnight).

wow you did really well i like the rain but i really like the clear day, i have trouble seeing sometimes so i'm more of a clear picture person, but thier both really good renders congrats.....on the work
Nice job on this!!
the same landscape - two different atmos and effect - cool Idea and excellent render
You did great work! EXT pic!
Excellent work on this! Very nice images!
Nice weather variants.
Very nice scene. Great variations! Good weather effects and lighting. Well done!
excellent works!
I especially like the way you have done the planted crop rows. Really gives the special look to your title. Yep, when I have long render times, I let it render thru the night when I'm asleep...LOL
Nice contrast between the 2
Great pair of images, I prefer the sunnier day - nicely done light on that
Really looks like a serious downpour. Great scene(s). Both are beautiful.
I like the rainy scene a whole lot more. It has a less computer generated feel. Excellent!!
Wow Craig! That is some time difference. I love both these images.
I really like this, the bottom one is better of course, but there both really good(;
A great set Craig...I like them both, the rain effects worked out very well!I will have to try this concept of comparison renders,it's very effective!

I love these Craig... they are great. I too like the top one best! Great work!
Great dramatic change with the 2 panels. The rain really changes the feel of the image as does the lighting. Beautiful work and wicked lesson....
Both are fantastic images. The idea of looking at the same place with diffetent wheather conditions is very interesting. Excellent work.
Two very beautiful and well composed images indeed. I must say I like the bottom one, I find the lighting outstanding in the way it highlights the crops!
Outstanding work!!
I like the top one - nicely done.
