Description
It's all about the light.
..........
I hate to tell all you purists out there, but this kitchen will be going away and will be replaced with a modern, state-of-the-art kitchen. I have no idea what it will look like when they're done. They did purchase the house in order to remodel it, after all, so change is inevitable!

Beautiful old kitchen, excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bare counters..monochrome...fits rather well
cool looking
The light is lovely in this incarnation; I'm sure it will be even more so in the remodel! Great shot, I love it in B&W...
Great perspective and tones. kell
Hi Tara May Oh, a nice place for a sit by the paper towels and maybe a soak for me feet wonderful capture sparks the light sweet smile to you warm hug with love, Linda Kaye
first thing that gets me Tara, is the light. Wonderful B&W shot. you should do a 'HOME' publication, its lovely!
It IS all about the light--and this light is just so sweet and soft and wonderful!!
This is a great shot, Tara, and I guess I'm not a purist, because I certainly agree with the 'boys'! This kitchen has to go! This lovely light is likely to enhance a revamped kitchen just as well!
outstanding work.... the b & w works fantastic in this photo
Very nice in B/W and great light....I would love to have that much counter space
very fine light - makes it look cosy despite the emptyness.
….very beautiful photo of “empty” house. Completely it is however not empty: I see a cup and a towel ;-))
Great shot! :)
A nice homely feling this shot has.
Cool image and B&W shot!
Very beautiful pic! My 1923 kitchen had an oak draining board, not tiles. very interesting!
I hope they manage to save the little shelf with the cup on, maybe find another place for it. I wonder what the little door is for at the side of the window, seems an odd place to have a cupboard of sorts. I can't see it being a serving hatch. I am in agreement also that the exsisting kitchen has to go, maybe demolished and extended(have I read that already some where?) Wonderful light now, I wonder how it will look in a couple of years time? It seems to me the house is bare and clinical almost, I'm sure it will take on a warm glow once Trent and David move in. Once they get some personal items in there the light will totaly change. Excellent work Tara. Bravo!!!!!
Fantastic....
AN excellent shot Tare.
Beautiful shot and lighting Tara !!!!....and even though this kitchen is kinda cool in a retro way, I bet what they do will be awesome !
beautiful in b/w
I enjoyed your house series very much. I love to spend time in old, empty houses and feel all the life it has seen. This is a great house, and you've taken some wonderful shots. Thanks for sharing them.
Nice mood captured here!
Goodbye to the old stuff, modern fittings are better to keep clean:)...Great shot Tara, and the monochrome works well here.
The light is fresh here. It also helps that there is no clutter!
Soon we shall see all house completely!) Wonderfully!
beautiful in b/w
lovely old kitchen ... I would keep it that way if I bought it ..wOnderful lighting
... I'd love to have an all-white kitchen .... but I'm sure whatever they decide to do with it, it'll be beautiful. I sure look forward to seeing the stages of the remodeling. :)
