Description
Looking for the ground.
Here, a Golden Knight from the Army parachute demonstration team is a mere 50 feet above the ground. Look closely and you will see the parachutist stearing his chute (see the chords in his hands) toward a soft, stand-up landing.
I had almost no time to take this photograph. I had been looking at another activity, glanced overhead and there was this rapidly descending parachutist.
Hope you enjoy this colorful image.
Thanks for visiting.

good shot i like it *******************
Very beautiful image...splendid capture!!
I like the colour, and the fact that the parachutist is almost silhouetted in the shade of the canopy. Great crop too! Well done, Clive
A wonderful action capture, Bill. Great job! Hugs. Di. xx
Sounds like a lot of excitement going on there, your camera working double-time! Excellent capture .. and Quick thinking :)
Well caught and just in time by the sound of it. I Like the blue you left on the photo - not cropping it was best. Good one, Rob
Wow, great action capture!
Great perspective, composition, and quick on the draw considering that you had no time to plan here. Nice shot, Bill. :)
Great shot.
