Description

Summer is waning, and small creatures hurry to complete their appointed tasks before their time is up. With a long holiday weekend coming up, I will finally have time to catch up in the galleries here. Thank you very kindly for your views, comments and faves on my recent image. I truly appreciate it.

I've exhausted my lexicon of superlatives when it comes to your photographs, Maria! Your work is absolutely nonpareil, if that will suffice.

Wow I have never seen one this color before, beautiful! And a beautiful captire! Yes I totally agree nature is amazing! I love when we catch something with the camera's eye that we can't see with our own! Superb macro!!!

I agree that summer is waning, but as you know (in our area), September can have several weeks of wicked hot weather. The recent rains helped break the back of consistent 100 degree F days but summer will most likely have a last hurrah, lol. Nice capture of this pretty Butterfly. Thanks for sharing. Lee
