Description
Tribute to largely unsung and troubled cartoonist Wallace Wood and his vintage 60's view of the future.
Set, character body suits, hair and morphs by me.
The background and dino were taken from the cover. These were meant to be placeholders for final figures, but it's already taken in excess of 90 hours to get to this point.. plus buying T-Rex with baby FBM's at $40 is a bit pricey for a single shot, so here it is.
Lots of post work on hair (as if you wouldn't notice) and the V4Devsuit (should have just used a displacement map like I had to for Apollo).
Have three more projects in the works, so got to dash.

This is very cute! Love the idea and execution
Nice and funny work. I like it.
Great concept and very well executed. Your $40.00 was the best money never spent because this flat critter works perfectly into the storyline of 2d vs 3d.
I love Wally Wood. Nice homage.
lol, excellent image.

Splendid and funny scene...bravissimo!V:DDD.Hugsxx
I'm not familiar with Wood so can't comment on that, but it's a superb idea.

A joy to watch!!! Great image Gary!!! (Still am working on an image with your headmorphs.. Want to do her justice, so I will need more time.:)
You make me smile my friend. I had much refusal like that lol…. You bring joys and smiles and it is well to mention it because that is the richness of the kings the laughter . Cheer still and mile mercies ((5++)) Tu me fais sourire mon ami . J'ai eu beaucoup de refus comme cela lol.... Tu apportes joies et sourires et il est bien de le mentionner car c'est la richesse des rois le rire . Bravo encore et mile mercis ((5++))
Excellent !!!
this one belongs in my "all time fav" listing!!! amazing idea and brilliant render!!!
Great retro-futurism. I don't know the original you quote from, but I think the image matches the spirit of the books I loved to read as a boy perfectly. Our school library thankfully had lots of them.
How I missed this I'll never know. What a great treatment of Wally Wood. Excellent, well done sir.
