not so grand and I doubt if it was ever.if the lions were not stone they would leave in shame
I usually post things of beauty, but I decided to post this obvious neglect of a very large building.it is one block deep and wide

Super the way you have presented this. Looks like it was obviously constructed sometime in the 60s or early 70s judging from the style of it. Hope the room pricing is in keeping with the neglect of the facade.

A very difficulty to kill for such a photography, because high and wide !!! SPlendid angle by catching all on the ground, with the two lions !!! Original. Yous shot os wonderful, it is the building which is too big !!!

That period of architecture was so horrid! Looks even worse with aging. Good shot but a depressing image for sure!

It definitely makes a statement about the neglect of our whole Country. China owns more of it than we do, they are the ones who paid for those stimulus checks. Things like this are hard to see but if it makes enough people sad maybe someone will care. I have never wanted to live in a big city. I live in a small rural town in Indiana. I've seen buildings like this in Indianapolis and several other big cities. It says something about you Richard that you cared enough to post something about it. It might not be pretty like your others but it sends a message.

Funny, this design is very similar to the old Travel Lodge in North Sydney, minus the stone lions ! Interesting, but not eye-candy for sure ! ~Cheers~
