Description
I really don't know if this is a cistern, or a piling, or even a septic tank. It is near the Concrete Ship in Cape May, New Jersey. The waves have filled it up with water. I set up a monopod and waited for the waves to crash against it. This is the second image I caught at this location. Enjoy!

The splash takes on a land-look for only a second...like fine sea grasses blowing in the wind and then it vanishes into the sand where it rolls back out to sea... Fabulous shot.

This is one of two emplacements that were used for the 8 foot Navy guns, which were on each side of the bunker.
