Description
Count them...eight reins. In this age of the automobile and truck, we don't often get to see how one horse, let alone eight horses are hitched up to pull a wagon.
Here's the expert driver for the Budweiser Clydesdale horses. If you've ever seen this spectacular team of horses in person or in an advertisement, you'll also recognize the Dalmatian at his master's side. I'm not sure how a coach dog was employed, but that must be his role too.
Went to the annual airshow today in Kansas City, Missouri and saw a tremendous show. I took more than 400 pictures, many in the burst mode, which I'll share a few of the best of with you in the next few days. However, the hit of the show for me was the travelling Budweiser team. The team includes eight Clydesdales, a bright red antique beer wagon, expert grooms, the wagon driver, the dog and all are carried on three handsomely painted 18 wheel tractor trailer trucks.
Hope you enjoy this photo...wait 'til you see the horses up close. Who would have thought they'd be in Kansas City for the airshow?
Thanks for looking. Your comments, of any sort, are very welcome.

Great image...bravo!
Beautiful photo.
A wonderful shot, so glad you had such a good time at the show, Bill. Thank you for sharing these images with us all. Hugs. Di. xx
Great shot! Seems rather unkind to take any animals to an air show, though!
A great shot. I've seen the Bud team a couple times. Just marvelous!
Brilliant shot Bill, amazing about the horses, must be a really spectacular. Love the dog riding as his "mate".
Oh that poor man, such a mundane job...WHERE DO I SIGN UP!, would not fancy polishing the brass though.
Great composition and funny shot.. Hugs
