Description
Those of you who know a bit about yoga will get this title right away. :)
The Japanese Garden at the Arboretum is a great place to look at turtles. They're everywhere!

How lovely. This makes me wish I were a turtle, too! Just vegging on a hot rock, pointing my nose to the sun, and soaking it all in! Lovely image!
Fine POV and stark light and dark in this shot. Reptiles really dig the heat of the sun. This pair could really use a wash and wax job on their carapace.
Looks like they truly enjoy a ful sun. great shot.
wonderful shot....
great shot! i love how the one on the right looks like he's been there as long as the rock itself!
The do seem to stretch out and catch every bit of sun they can...great find and capture!
Great shot!
I know nothing about Yoga but I know a lot about mud turtles. These are doing what they do best and what builds strong bones and shells. How happy they are. And what a great shot of them this is!
I did get this right away, made my neck hurt just readin it!! But I love this shot, and totally get why they're reaching out for every ray they can get!!
....ein sehr schönes Foto von den Schildkroten! Sehr nett!!!!
Yoga is the only thing I've tried that I nearly damaged myself doing! I forgot I'm not 20 and overreached myself. Don't think these guys are in danger of that!
WOW ! They really seem to have a splendid time in the sun :))) Excellent shot, Tara.
I do that all the time to stretch my triple chin. Lol. Excellent capture, I have to agree with shirovama, the one on the right does look like he's been there forever. Bravo!!!!!
cute couple
yogi bear suits me just fine ......
Absolutely adorable Tara! And a sublim pict with this shadows!
Think I'll pass on the yoga, I am hurting enough now :)....That said I don't mind the Greek one with some nice fruit in it! :)))....Execellent wildlife shot Tara!
Did a little sunbathing last week... burnt my right leg because I didn't put enough sunblock on it... wish I had a shell to protect me!
wonderful shot
Looks like a nice sunny day for this. Of course they have a little protection. Great shot.
