Description
This image is for my wonderful friend Nancy or known to many as npauling. Nancy is one of those rare few who are gifted in so many ways as she does brilliant work in Fractals, Photography and Mixed Mediums. A stroll through her gallery will feel like a relaxing walk in a beautiful setting with a long time friend. A while back I asked her if I could do a image and she provided me with many wonderful stories of her and her family but this one really made me smile the most. I hope you enjoy it and hope it brings smiles.Take care,
Dave
Lambpede (For npauling): Nancy was brought up on a mixed crop and livestock farm in the South Island of New Zealand. She loved to do the chores around the farm with her family like tending to their large group of lambs. On this day however during chores a bad storm rolled in and her parents Ken and Rosalie called for the children to begin rounding up the lambs. You see in New Zealand they don't have a lot of large barns, so in the event of a storm you put the little guys anywhere you can find room. They put lambs in the hen houses, the pigsty the implement shed and even some in the kitchen and laundry. They would then spend hours drying and feeding the lambs milk to warm them up. I tried to capture the moment when Nancy (in the raincoat) and her four sisters Sally, Helen, Susan, Janet along with their brother Robert would herd them in the house.

Wonderful and cool scene. Excellent atmosphere and light, beautiful pose and wonderful outfit.
How sweet! :) Looks like Nancy had a lot of lambs she took to house one day! :)
Dave another winner here! I love your pictures they are so endearing and you always add such detail to the story and bring the picture to life! Chris

Oh this is Wonderful! Lambs are one of my favorite animals, and the children are so sweet. What a terrific job you did. Also it is so nice to see G rated Poser images as a change. :-D Hugs, Missy.
Ahhh Dave. Another sweet one with sassy little girl women. So cute. It amazes me how you give them all expressions that are so realistic. I love it and I get so much enjoyment viewing your work. Always.

A real visual delight and perfect posing once again Dave
This is just adorable. What a cute story. You did it again Dave, you put a smile on my face as you always do. I just love the expressions of surprise and delight on those faces. The lamb are very expressive as well. You gave them smiles.
An excellent illustration of Nancy's story, Dave. Another great image! Very rewarding to view.
It's really cute. :) I like Nancy's worried(?) look as she tries to get the flock into the house, and that one lamb seemingly understanding her sister in the red dress. Great work, Dave!
Excellent dedi and image as usual Dave. I noticed 7 lambs and only 6 girls.. looks like some poor lamb doesn't get it's own girl tonight..lol. Good thing they are lambs and not cows.. could get real crowded, real fast, inside the house on bad nights. Love your Title Dave.. very clever. Some farmer type friends of mine (back in SLC many years ago) raised and slaughtered pigs on their farm. I was always a bit disturbed when they gave leftovers (including ham) back to them to eat. It was cooked of course but not quite sure that makes a moral difference...lol. Just something not right about all that. Anyway.. bravo and best wishes from Dave :^)
This is incredible Dave you have really excelled yourself with all the lambs and all of us kids. No wonder you had some trouble finishing it, but the result is fabulous. Thank you so much for this, I am truly honoured.

Really cute, I especially like the little girl on the left, that one is adorable with her little finger up in the air lol You must have a super duper computer to fit that many characters in a scene.
Excellent scene and a lovely dedication!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The expression in the children's eyes and their joy and astonishment are simply superb, Dave, this is another wonderful achievement and a real pleasure to the eyes. Excellent work and dedi for your friend!
Super great work my friend.
Fine image, an impressive command of a large number of figures. Especially like the girl on the left - laying down the laws of the house to the lamb?
