ok dave for you i will try an explain this picture and what inspired it the eagle represents strength to go on the arrow in the heart represents past and present heartaches and the lone arrow is just that alone with ones own thoughts i was once told by a very wise man you can beat me or even kill me but you can never take away what i feel in my heart and soul and this is my heart and soul dam you dave i was never going to explain my art thank you for giving me the push i sometimes need to believe in myself little did you know your my spirit and strengh when i need it i believe everything in life happens at the right time and always give you what you need not what you may want but what you need and i needed to explain this luv pam

Thanks for sharing your explanation, it brings the whole piece into sharp focus. The background is wonderful, gives a subdued DOF feeling. From my POV, pull out the arrow, let the healing begin. The scar tissue will always remind you of where you've been, you don't need that raw reminder constantly in your face, constantly distracting you from seeing the good things in the present. Just the humble opinion of an old dude with enough scar tissue to make an entire other human being LOL...
