Description
Trying stained glass here. A few challenges: Sun outside needed to be pretty high to avoid too much or too little illumination, needed a wide angle lens because the inside hallway was narrow and you can't step back further than the wall behind you; and this was taken with my primative Sony Cybershot 1.3MP DSC-S30. Yes, it is in my camera museum now.
Anybody else photographing stained glass lately?
Subject here is General U.S. Grant and General Robert E. Lee after Gen Lee surrendered the Army of Northern Virginia, Confederate States of America, to Gen Grant, U.S. Army, USA on April 9, 1865. This effectively ended the Civil War in the USA after more than four years of terrible bloodshed. Slavery was at long last abolished.
Window location is at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

Super shot! Well done. I never have tried to capture a shot like this.
I really like stained glass, especially in a more contemporary style like this.
