Description
AlooooooooHa!
Dialing in the correct exposure in the dark is quite difficult and frustrating experience. Each little explosion is different and one setting does not fit all. Many exposures were completely blown out, and when I tried to compensate for the next shot, were underexposed.....Grrrrr. Focusing in between shots was another challenging aspect for me. Using a tele lens requires more light than most lens, and my lens really worked hard trying to get any bright spot to focus in on.
For me, the challenge was trying to stay in the ball park with my exposures. I liked this shot, but it was borderline...eh, you can't get it right every time. I have many shots where the yellow highlights just blew out the entire image.
Mahalo's for hanging in there for this series, daylight is coming and the plume takes on a different look. A peaceful weekend to all! Aloha~
