Description
These dunes are part of the Algodones Dunes, California, which stretch from the Salton Sea in a southeasterly direction toward the Mexican border. Some areas are set aside for recreational use and these tracks are proof that off-road vehicles such as ATVs and motorcycles were here.
This location is between I-8 and the border with Mexico. The picture was taken on 11 December 2005.

Very fine work!
I'm glad you pointed out it was California Sig, I would have guessed at the Sahara Desert myself. I think it's great that some of it has been set aside for off roaders, my 9 year old grandson is an off roader with his motorbike, he is a local club champion but it is hard for him to practice as there is nowhere local to do this. Having somwhere like this would be his dream place. An excellent image, it's suprising how just sand and sky can make such a beautiful image. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
