Description
I keep going back to the day Tara, Denise and I spent on Whidbey Island and here at Deception Pass. The foto ops were unlimited and several times we each took pix of the same things and came up with very different POV's. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder!! This is below the bridge, obviously!! Off to the right that's not visible is a small beach with huge driftwood logs, like giant pick up sticks. Guess I shouldn't even mention it, since I don't have any fotos!!

What a fab pic! The water is a stupendous colour, and your compo is excellent!
Perfect POV and capture, Marilyn. Bungee jumping....yeeeeeeeee!!!
But if ypu go on multi maps site you can see all the pick up sticks around that area, I couldn't be;ieve there was so much wood just laying there, then Tara told me take away is a no no! Excellent capture Marilyn, I wanted to get a close up like this when I went up to the Firth of Forth Bridge, trouble was I didn't have a decent camera at the time. I have a thing about bridges, it drives Pauline mad at times, I used to say I've been across that bridge everytime an advert came on the TV. Now Emma as started doing the same thing. Lol. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
Great capture of one of my favorite bridges, It always has such beautiful colored water beneath it.
Absolutely Fabulous Shot! I love the view and the light plays well with the bridge beams. Marvelously well done!
super image

excellent capture and love to get the look on the detail of the bridge.
OMG, Bridge on the River Kwai! Erector Set heaven in the Great Northwest! Fabulous POV, DOF, perspective, and lighting in this marvelous capture of man's works strikingly contrasted against the grandeur of nature, Marilyn!
I happen to have a shot of that beach...maybe I'll post it one of these days. This is a great shot, don't you just love the water color?
That was such a fun day! Great shot!
Ohhh..a place of equilibrium, or quick dysequilibrium...and a gorgeous representation of both! No, no..I'm glad you mentioned the description. I have a beautiful inner vision in my minds eye of it now. Lovely work! (and I'm STILL laughing over goodoleboy's take..lol)
I loe the green water below, I bet the river is very deep.
